Before reaching for cleaning sprays and wipes, dust the toilet seat to baseboards first with a duster. Scrub light bulbs and countertops as well, to get rid of stubborn dirt.

A bathroom can get dusty for many reasons:
Recent Construction or Renovation Dust
The rubble and soil from new construction or renovations may have leaked into your bathrooms if your home has just recently been built or renovated. By cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces on a regular basis, you won’t have a build-up of dust that might end up creating health issues in the residents.
Ventilation Issues
Bathtubs accumulate dust because of dampness and lack of ventilation and combine with moisture and soap scum to create an unappetizing black film that needs to be cleaned regularly and ventilation better in order to keep looking good. The frequent cleaning and better ventilation could prevent this and reduce dust build-up.

For less cross-contamination in a bathroom, assign coloured microfiber rags for each type of surface – your janitorial staff won’t accidentally wipe the toilet/counter/sink surfaces with the same cloth, making those surfaces last longer! Though vacuuming is usually associated with cleaning carpets, it’s also an indispensable appliance for organising a bathroom quickly and simply. Clean before mopping to save time and effort — vacuuming can remove hair and dust that’s hard to get away once you’ve wet your clothes.
